John Officialmsc (Jean de Dieu Niyo) is a gospel guitarist, minister, and recording artist from East Africa, and the founder of the Mkristo Brand. Born in 2002 and raised in Kigoma, Tanzania, he began playing guitar at twelve and has built a growing catalogue of gospel music — including singles such as “Nguvu Zangu,” “Mkristo,” and “Niongozwe” — alongside a music ministry that reaches audiences across the region and online.

Beyond the stage, John runs the J.M.C studio in Tanzania, mentors emerging artists, and works as a music teacher. His sound blends R&B, jazz, blues, and Congolese influences in service of a single mission: to point people to hope through the message of the gospel.
